 Hii.now i want to show the mode of guitar scale.Modes are  different pattern of scale that we can play at different interval.All note from scale are the same as different modes.Mode give different pitch/octave where we play at different root at the guitar fretboard.For example,we can play Aminor scale : A,B,C,D,E,F,G.There are 7 note in one pitch.We can use the second mode from minor scale that is Aeolian that start with note B.Now, the the interval become B,C,D,E,F,G,A.

 From minor scale,there are 7 different modes that start with different root.Look table below

Note(root)
 Modes
A
Aeolian/minor
B
Locrian
C
Ionian/major
D
Dorian
E
Pharygian
F
Lydian
G
Mixolydian

What is on the table above  ?  this is 7 modes that created from minor scale.Those mode have own pattern.To understand the pattern,we must memorise all these modes.

Now,let me show all 7 modes,

Mode 1 : Aeolian (Minor)

Aeolian,this is a 1st mode in minor scale.We can called 'minor' modes same as Aeolian.The red dot indicate is the root.Example : we want to play Am scale,1st red dot at bottom is note A,after this B,C,D,E,F and G.The middle red dot is not A again (2nd pitch).These scale were play down the fretboard.There are two octave in each mode.

Mode 2 : Locrian

2nd mode is Locrian.This mode start with note B in key Am.It still in Am scale but start with note B instead of A.The type of the mode is minor.

Mode 3 : Ionian (Major)

Ionian is 3rd mode from Am scale that use C as root of the mode.When we talk about 3rd mode,this is relative mode from the 1st mode/scale.C major is relative to Aminor.All the note are : C,D,E,F,G,A,B
Type = major.

Mode 4 :Dorian

Dorian is 4th mode in scale Am.this root start with D note.All note are : D,E,F,G,A,B,C
Type = minor

Mode 5 :Pharygian

 Pharygian is the 5th mode in Am scale.It start with E note as root.Therefore all note in the mode are : E,F,G,A,B,C,D.
Type = minor

Mode 6 : Mixolydian

Mixolydian is 6th mode after pharygian in Am scale.It start with F as root.Therefore, all note in this mode are : F,G,A,B,C,D,E.
Type = major.

Mode 7 :Lydian

 Lydian is 7th mode in A minor scale.That is last mode,no more other mode after this mode.After this mode,going back to Aeolian mode that is original mode from scale Am.Example : Aeolian,Locrian,Ionian,Dorian,Pharygian,Mixolydian,Lydian and Aeolian again. and so on.Type = major

Haa..all 7 note are combine together to create all notes A,B,C,D,E,F,G in fretboard.Look diagram below.However,to master the fretboard pattern,we should practice and memorise all the pattern and combine together..
