Introduction
Hi everybody,for this section,I want to tell u about blues scale.Actually,blues scale come from pentatonic scale.Pentatonic has minor and major as its mode.Pentatonic have 5 note in one octave,discuss earlier.One note is added to pentatonic scale to become blues scale,there are 6 notes total in blues scale.Look diagram below.

Red dot represent blues note is added after 3rd note in pentatonic scale.4th note is replaced by blues note,and 4th note become 5th note,while 5th note become 6th note in pentatonic scale.Thus new scale is called ‘Blues scale’.In this scale above has 2 octave,thus also have 2 blues notes in blues scale.Blues scale can also called hexatonic scale.Examples Am pentatonic scales “

Modes of Blues Scale
Besides the original blues scale pattern which start with a root note.Blues also have its distinctive modes pattern different from original but same in note.The different is modes start with root other than original note.Examples,A blues scale ; A,C,D,E,Eb,G.This is blues scale original that start start with ‘A’ note as root.We can also start with other 5 notes in the scale,C,D,E,Eb, or G.So,resulting in new scale called ‘modes’.In blues,there are 6 notes,therefore,it has also 6 modes including one original blues scale.
